Membership
Why beome a member of Waterloo Bay Toastmasters?
When you join Waterloo Bay Toastmasters Club you are not only joining a friendly and supportive club with 20 to 30 members from your local area - you are also joining a Worldwide organisation with thousands of members and a vast wealth of educational resources built up over more than 80 years of helping people like you to improve their communication and leadership skills.
To access such a range of training material, support and guidance you would expect to pay several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. However, Waterloo Bay Toastmasters is a non-profit organisation which exists solely for the benefit of its members and, because anyone over the age of 18 can join our club, the community as a whole.
So instead of hundreds of dollars, you pay a one-off joining fee of AU$45 for which you receive:
* A Communication & Leadership manual
* “Your speaking voice” educational guide
* “Gestures” educational guide
* The Toastmaster monthly magazine
* New member badge
* Membership Certificate
… and access to all of the benefits of the Toastmasters program.
Every member pays a half yearly membership fee of AU$42. This fee is calculated on a pro rata basis according to the month in which you join.
| Month Joined | Amount | |
| January | July | $21 |
| February | August | $14 |
| March | September | $7 |
| April | October | $42 |
| May | November | $35 |
| June | December | $28 |
Membership of Waterloo Bay Toastmasters is open to all people over the age of 18.
